One of the things I love about the web is that you can communicate easily with people from all over the world. For the first time in human history we can interact with people on the other side of the world just as easily as we can with people right down the street. Besides finding people that share the same hobbies or views or what-not we get the benefit of different ideas, different ways of doing things and more. This is an incredible time for human's in my opinion.
One of the best ways to interact like this is using online communities and forums. However, finding these forums and communities can be time consuming and tricky especially when you want to find ones that are very active and popular.
Twing is a great place to start. Twing is a new alternative search engine for online communities and forums. Basically, it goes out on the web looking for these kinds of sites and then makes it very easy to search them. Think of it as Google for communities and forums. Simply type in what you are looking for and it will provide you with a list of discussions. Using this you can quickly find forums and communities that focus on the products or subjects you want. Twing is free and easy to use. Check it out. Click Here to go to Twing.
Adobe Systems - July 29th 2008
Adobe Systems today announced that Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.0 has begun to ship. While there has been a public beta of 2.0 for both the PC and the Mac for some months, indications from Adobe during that time was that there would only be the one public beta release and that the final shipping version would have more features that seen in the public beta.
Once our copies from Adobe arrive you can expect to see our coverage of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2.0. I am sure you are wondering why unlike everyone else we have had so very little coverage of the public beta. Simple it was a beta and according to Adobe not a feature complete one at that. We saw little point in providing coverage for a program that wasn't feature complete and one that could change significantly by the time it does ship. We may not be the first with coverage, but we will be providing accurate coverage.
You can upgrade from a previous version of Adobe Photoshop Lightroom for $99 or if your buying Adobe Photoshop Lightroom for the first time your full package price is $299. You can also download a trial version by Clicking Here.
