The iSkin eVo3 Product Shot is a rubber kind of jelly like covering for your Apple iPod. It is tight fitting and it has three main areas. One is the main chamber that you slip your iPod in to. The second is a thin membrane area made from the same material as the rest of the iSkin, but thinner that covers the iPods touch pad controls and protects them from dirt, etc. while still being thin enough to allow you to operate it as normal. The third is a clear plastic cover that slips over the top of both the touch pad controls section and the rest of the iPod giving it a hard protective cover. There is a hole where the iPods touch pad is, this area has no hard plastic covering just the thinner rubber/jelly membrane covering.

On the back of the iSkin is a removable rotatable belt clip so that you can clip your iPod to your belt, purse or pants or shirt pocket. If you don't wish to use it you can remove it. The iSkin comes in many different colors including Atomic (Vibrant Green), Sonic (Vibrant Blue), Blaze (Exciting Red), Arctic (Clear Frosted), Eclipse (Solid Black) and Blush (Fashion Pink), and also The eVo3 Special Edition (the first ever two-colored eVo3 is also specially coated to resist dust and lint).

The bottom of the iSkin has a movable flap that protects the docking port on your iPod but is easily moved out of the way for easy docking. There is a perfectly placed hole on the top for easy plugging in of your headphones or earbuds as well as a small moveable protective flap for the iPods hold button.

While I found it takes a little time to get your iPod in to the iSkin and the clear protective face place secured in place, once it is done I see no reason why you would have to take your iPod out. The iSkin is designed so that you can dock your iPod with the Apple iPod dock. However, if you are using some other docking station like the DLO Home Dock Deluxe or some other device that requires the sliding in of the iPod to make a connection with the docking port in the bottom the chances are you are going to have take your iPod out. This is my only complaint; it takes time to get the iPod in to the iSkin so having to do this every time you want to dock it was something other than the Apple iPod docking station gets real tiresome really quick. Since I use a lot of DLO products I found that while I like the look, feel and the protection that the iSkin offers it is too much trouble to use with the accessories I want to use.

If you don't use accessories with your iPod I highly recommend the iSkin. It is cool looking, it offers a great deal of protection to your iPod, its touch control pad, docking port and overall face protection on it is excellent. It comes in some really neat colors. It has a rotatable and removable belt clip, it has air holes so that your iPod can breathe and stay cool. It is a great product if you don't use accessories with your iPod.
